Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
