Responsibilities
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L) ensuring full compliance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all journal entries are accurate and posted in a timely manner.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the end-to-end process of AP and AR, including invoice processing, payment execution, and collections to ensure healthy cash flow.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all corporate bank accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings, ensuring all necessary documentation is organized and submitted correctly.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve internal controls to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Certification: CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) preferred; active CPA candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
