Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to handle financial reporting, general ledger management, and ensure compliance with local and federal regulations. This is a high-visibility role within a growing firm.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and financial statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial audits.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites occasionally.
