Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with state and federal tax regulations.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, managing vendor relationships and cash flow.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide financial forecasting support to management.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to automate workflows and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
