Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial reports to identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve operational efficiency and reporting processes.
- Maintain and update financial models and forecasting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, regulations, and GAAP principles.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
