Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and federal/state tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement daily payroll processing systems for immediate employee compensation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with daily payroll systems
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100 preferred)
- CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA designation
- Strong knowledge of Texas tax laws and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with multi-currency transactions and international finance
