Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with attention to regulatory compliance
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls and accuracy
- Support tax preparation and documentation for federal/state filings
- Develop financial models and KPI dashboards for strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Valid Texas CPA license (or actively pursuing)
