Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and review accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analyses.
- Perform timely bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings and support internal compliance audits.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) to maintain up-to-date ledgers and financial records.
- Support the budgeting process and provide financial analysis to management to aid in decision-making.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting management software.
- Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and tax regulations.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
