Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and regulatory compliance reports
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with audit teams during external examinations and tax preparation processes
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions and supporting records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize competing tasks
