Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting for 2026+ innovations across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption timelines and competitive landscapes
- Partner with product teams to translate futuristic concepts into viable product roadmaps and MVPs
- Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and speak at global technology summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation culture within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (e.g., AI ethics, quantum applications, decentralized systems)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and innovation budgets >$5M
