Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology roadmap with 5-year strategic vision
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, decentralized AI) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts to investors, board members, and industry partners
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and biometric systems
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for prototype development and testing
- Author thought leadership pieces for IEEE and TechCrunch
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in future planning or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, or synthetic biology)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Track record of launching at least one disruptive technology product
- Deep understanding of ethical AI and regulatory landscapes
