Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, biotech, and quantum computing integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen user interfaces and interaction models
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market readiness
- Collaborate with governments and NGOs on ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Design scalable architectures for IoT ecosystems in smart cities and industrial automation
- Present strategic foresight reports to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Mentor junior researchers in future-tech methodologies and innovation processes
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (Master's with exceptional experience)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy or R&D leadership roles
- Published research in AI ethics, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Experience securing federal grants for future-tech initiatives (NSF, DARPA)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-tech solutions
