This hybrid role offers 3 days in-office collaboration and 2 days for deep innovation work, with quarterly offsite innovation sprints in global tech hubs.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop innovation frameworks for ethical tech adoption and sustainable digital transformation
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused skills and strategic thinking methodologies
- Present quarterly technology trend briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years tech strategy experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Strong background in ethical AI frameworks and sustainable tech principles
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets and cross-functional innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry white papers
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis platforms
