Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies across quantum, neurotech, and synthetic biology sectors
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging innovations with existing infrastructure
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary workshops with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present trend analysis and scenario planning to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on ethical AI and human-machine symbiosis
- Manage partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Guide product development teams in implementing futuristic features
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience with quantum computing architectures and neural interface technologies
- Strong presentation skills for executive audiences and international conferences
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
