Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential post-2026
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption strategies
- Conduct competitive analysis of next-generation tech investments and patent landscapes
- Author thought leadership publications on technology trends and their societal implications
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish KPIs to measure the impact of strategic technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management with 12+ years experience
- Proven track record in strategic technology planning within Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, and AR/VR
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Credibility with executive leadership and demonstrated ability to influence decision-making
- Published author or speaker at major technology conferences (e.g., CES, Web Summit)
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with 5-10 year strategic horizons
