Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for AI, quantum computing, and biotech breakthroughs through 2026
- Develop and maintain a 10-year technology innovation roadmap
- Partner with C-suite to align futuristic initiatives with business goals
- Create immersive future-state prototypes using AR/VR and neural interfaces
- Present strategic foresight to stakeholders at industry conferences
- Build and mentor a cross-functional innovation lab team
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI, blockchain, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Published futurist research or patents in transformative technologies
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Portfolio demonstrating technology forecasting accuracy
