Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps focusing on quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI ethics
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Partner with product teams to translate future-tech insights into actionable development priorities
- Present strategic tech forecasts to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring emerging technology adoption readiness
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental technology prototyping
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2020+ tech roadmap execution
- Mastery of emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, generative AI, and decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, ACM, or Harvard Business Review on future tech
- Experience scaling technology innovations from concept to enterprise deployment
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from University of Manchester)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and blockchain development frameworks
