Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight framework identifying disruptive innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for future tech domains
- Create intellectual property through patent filings and technical disclosures
- Guide ethical implementation frameworks for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership role
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in industry journals or conferences
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
