Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 2026 innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and market gaps
- Partner with C-suite executives to align future tech initiatives with business strategy
- Author thought leadership publications and industry reports on 2026 technology forecasts
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $5M+ innovation budgets
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching futuristic products/services (2018-2023)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or foresight publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
