Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions and validate technical feasibility
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and cross-functional stakeholders
- Lead innovation workshops to foster future-focused thinking across the organization
- Monitor global tech policy and ethical implications for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and translating to business value
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
