Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop future-proof roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and neurotech into enterprise ecosystems
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and scale exponential technologies with measurable ROI
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives on disruptive market shifts and competitive threats
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership on the future of human-machine symbiosis and digital ethics
- Drive innovation workshops that challenge teams to think beyond current technological paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with $50M+ revenue impact
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent strategic foresight credentials preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to executive and technical audiences
- Published author or speaker at TED, Davos, or equivalent industry forums
- Mastery of scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable thought leadership
