Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging markets including quantum-resistant cryptography and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems with zero-carbon footprints
- Analyze geopolitical tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ markets
- Collaborate with policymakers on ethical AI frameworks and quantum governance protocols
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technologies and scenario planning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate-tech AI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry conferences
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology innovations with real-world impact
