Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive threats and opportunities in emerging tech landscapes
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers to accelerate innovation pipelines
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level strategic frameworks and investment proposals
- Author forward-looking whitepapers that position Horizon Labs as thought leader in future technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adopting future-proof methodologies and adaptive innovation practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years experience in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, neurotech, sustainable computing)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized solutions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to model complex system interactions
- Strong presentation skills with experience addressing C-suite and board audiences
