Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Technology Horizon' reports forecasting AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic research labs and emerging tech startups
- Design patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI deployment and sustainable tech adoption
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members quarterly
- Manage a $5M innovation incubator fund for 2026-focused pilot projects
- Represent company at global tech summits including Web Summit and CES
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published author in peer-reviewed tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Executive-level certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding from government/private sources
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio of 3+ patented technologies with market traction
