Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with global market trends
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized AI systems
- Partner with VPs of Product and Engineering to integrate future technologies into existing platforms
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to the board and C-suite executives
- Manage a $5M annual innovation budget with ROI-focused technology pilots
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Oversee compliance with emerging tech governance frameworks including AI ethics and data sovereignty
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or Quantum Engineering with 10+ years' experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Deep expertise in future-tech forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Experience scaling technology teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Published research in IEEE Nature or peer-reviewed journals on next-gen tech
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE 7000) or quantum systems design
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive stakeholders
