Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, researchers, and designers to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop patentable innovations in sustainable computing and human-machine interfaces
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present technology strategy to C-suite executives and board of directors
- Mentor next-generation talent through internal innovation incubator programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology R&D with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Published research in AI, quantum computing, or biotechnology (IEEE/ACM journals)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Expertise in ethical technology frameworks and responsible innovation
- Strong proficiency in systems architecture and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA-style funding
