Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography and optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D grants through innovative proposal development
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week and Davos Tech Summit
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning research
- Drive commercialization of quantum solutions with Fortune 100 partners
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough work)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum gate-based computing
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation techniques
- Experience leading teams of 10+ technical specialists
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
