Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovation horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on future-state architectures
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a 2026 technology pioneer
- Build relationships with academic institutions and government labs shaping next-gen tech policies
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies impacting global markets
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2025+ tech foresight
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI ethics, neurotech, etc.)
- Published author or keynote speaker on future technology trends
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong track record of translating futuristic concepts into executable business strategies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools for trend analysis and forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
