Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Create and maintain a comprehensive strategic plan outlining key technological initiatives, milestones, and deliverables for the next three years.
- Emerging Tech Analysis: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Quantum Computing, Edge Computing) to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Strategic Vision Implementation: Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and long-term growth targets.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with C-suite executives, product managers, and engineering leads to foster a culture of innovation and ensure seamless execution of technology strategies.
- Risk Management: Assess the risks associated with new technological implementations and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard business operations.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize budget and resource allocation for technology projects to maximize ROI and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, driving buy-in for strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, IT consulting, or software engineering leadership, with a minimum of 5 years in a strategic planning or architectural role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to think long-term and anticipate industry shifts, with a specific interest in the technological trajectory of 2026 and beyond.
- Tech Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML frameworks, and digital transformation methodologies.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, TOGAF, or cloud architecture certifications are a plus.
