- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to anticipate market shifts and competitive threats
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation funding through compelling stakeholder presentations
- Build and manage an internal incubator for experimental projects with exponential growth potential
- Establish KPI frameworks measuring innovation ROI and market disruption impact
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D, or technology leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3-year market impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and futures methodologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Experience securing >$10M in innovation budgets
- Portfolio of 3+ successfully commercialized disruptive innovations
