Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, bio-integration, neural interfaces) and their commercial viability by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global market disruptions
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports for executive stakeholders
- Lead design workshops mapping future user experiences and pain points
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
- Translate foresight findings into actionable product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations at industry conferences and board meetings
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech impact (Harvard Business Review, MIT Tech Review)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, nanotech)
- Experience with Delphi method and causal layered analysis frameworks
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in Tableau/Power BI
