Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, climate adaptation systems, neural interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in post-2025 markets
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains to identify inflection points
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members using data-driven forecasting models
- Establish KPIs for 2026 readiness across product, engineering, and sustainability initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications on next-generation human-machine paradigms
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, emerging tech analysis, or future-focused product development
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate AI, or neurotech
- Proven track record of developing 3+ year strategic roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional systems thinking ability to map complex technological interdependencies
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Published work or patents in future-focused technology domains preferred
- MSc/PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience required
- Portfolio demonstrating successful translation of futuristic concepts to market impact
