Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop future scenario models and roadmaps for innovation adoption across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight insights into corporate strategy, product development, and investment decisions
- Curate and deliver compelling future narratives to stakeholders, investors, and internal teams through presentations and white papers
- Establish cross-functional innovation labs to prototype solutions for future challenges and opportunities
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes to identify strategic partnerships and acquisition targets
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and academic experts to enrich organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies or high-growth startups
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional storytelling skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing executive decision-making
- Published thought leadership in futures, innovation, or technology strategy (articles, books, or conference presentations)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, or System Dynamics modeling
