Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps with measurable innovation milestones
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and risk/opportunity matrices
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into patentable innovations
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for board and investor briefings
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist and innovation experts
- Advise on M&A opportunities in next-gen tech verticals
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and disruption analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier industry journals (e.g., MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech adaptation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioners)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
