As a key member of our quantum research division, you'll architect hybrid quantum-classical systems, develop error-correction protocols, and collaborate with global research institutions. Our team operates on a 4-day work week with unlimited PTO and includes equity participation in our breakthrough technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for commercial and research applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical integration frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead quantum error-correction protocol development and implementation
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stabilization and coherence optimization
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and research partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum systems architecture or high-performance computing
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or quantum algorithms
- Experience with superconducting and photonic qubit technologies
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
- Proven ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business solutions
