Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in AI and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve quantum coherence times and error correction
- Lead research initiatives in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Develop proprietary quantum software frameworks for enterprise clients
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum physics and computational theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
