Responsibilities
- Architect quantum circuits for real-world applications in cryptography and material science
- Lead cross-continental quantum network deployments with 5G+ integration
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks
- Secure quantum-resistant encryption standards for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithms and hardware optimization
- Present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Computing Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real hardware (IBM Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum assembly languages
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
- Security clearance for DoD quantum projects (preferred)
