As a key member of our Quantum Futures division, you'll drive innovation in quantum error correction, algorithm optimization, and hardware-software co-design. Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures with fault-tolerant capabilities for 2026-era systems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols achieving <10^-9 logical error rates
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Research and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence enhancement and control systems
- Establish quantum security frameworks resistant to both classical and quantum attacks
- Author technical whitepapers and present breakthrough findings at IEEE Quantum Week
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Mastery of quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum architectures
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQC)
- Strong background in distributed quantum computing protocols
