Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 deployment milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists in prototyping next-gen quantum processors
- Develop error-correction frameworks to achieve quantum supremacy in commercially viable applications
- Collaborate with academic institutions and government labs on quantum security standardization
- Drive innovation in quantum-classical hybrid computing systems for enterprise solutions
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite stakeholders and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development and hardware integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals (Nature Quantum, PRL Quantum)
- Hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and microwave photonics
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding for quantum initiatives
