Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for real-world applications in cryptography, AI, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Create architectural blueprints for hybrid quantum-classical computing systems
- Drive research initiatives targeting quantum advantage by 2026 milestones
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior researchers and foster collaborative innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Strong programming skills in Python, C++, and quantum-specific frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or adjacent fields
- Experience leading complex technical projects with measurable outcomes
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
