Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap spanning quantum applications, AI ethics frameworks, and sustainable tech solutions
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging hardware, software, and biotechnology domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 5-10 year market impact
- Develop patent-worthy innovation portfolios and intellectual property strategies
- Collaborate with C-suite to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets and vendor ecosystems for next-gen tech partnerships
- Present visionary concepts to executive stakeholders and investor boards
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $50M+ revenue impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Deep expertise in innovation methodologies (TRIZ, Stage-Gate, Design Thinking)
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent forward-looking credential
- Experience scaling innovation teams across global operations
