Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and emerging market demands
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Scenarios' workshops with C-suite executives
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on research initiatives
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI and autonomous systems
- Secure federal and private innovation grants ($5M+ target annually)
- Mentor internal 'Futures Task Force' on exponential technology adoption
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Published research in exponential technologies or futurist journals
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Expertise in AI governance, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Experience securing federal SBIR grants or innovation partnerships
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Deep network within DARPA, NSF, or global innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight
