Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead incubation of next-gen solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging tech domains
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present innovation frameworks to the board with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Mentor a team of 8-12 innovation specialists in emerging technologies
- Secure and manage $2M+ annual innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record launching 3+ market-disrupting technologies
- Expertise in forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
