Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term innovation roadmaps for 2026+ technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate disruptive concepts
- Identify emerging market trends and translate them into actionable strategies
- Collaborate with C-suite executives on future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academia and industry pioneers
- Present visionary concepts to investors and key stakeholders
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of bold experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- PhD or advanced degree in relevant technical field or equivalent experience
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience leading teams through technological paradigm shifts
