Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Drive commercialization strategy for breakthrough innovations securing early market adoption
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and secure funding for high-potential initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and cultivate a culture of continuous innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate innovation, R&D strategy, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record launching technologies with 3+ year market impact cycles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem and academic research communities
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or Technology Foresight methodologies
- Demonstrated success securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
