Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 technology roadmap by identifying convergence points between quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams to prototype solutions for climate resilience, space habitation, and neural interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Caltech, and ESA for cutting-edge research integration
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies with projected 2026 commercialization
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members for $500M+ annual R&D allocation
- Mentor junior innovators through our Horizon Fellowship program
- Monitor global tech policy shifts to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Bioengineering, or related field with 8+ years R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ patents or unicorn exits)
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or synthetic biology integration
- Experience with DARPA/EU Horizon Europe funding cycles
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Published research in Nature/Science journals (2018-2023)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
