Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Architect and prototype breakthrough solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise ecosystems
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready features into current development pipelines
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage R&D incubation projects with $5M+ budgets
- Build and lead a cross-disciplinary innovation task force
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience managing global innovation teams across multiple continents
- Deep understanding of ethical implications of advanced technologies
- Proficiency in rapid prototyping tools (Python, TensorFlow, AWS Quantum)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
