Responsibilities
- Architect and execute strategic roadmaps for 2026-ready technologies including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and sustainable energy systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-year implementation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment and human-machine symbiosis
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and external stakeholders with compelling data visualization
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term technological impact and ROI on future-focused initiatives
- Mentor junior innovators in foresight methodologies and speculative design thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies; PhD preferred
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year development cycles
- Expertise in at least three emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for nascent technologies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology domains
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding from venture capital or corporate partners
