Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and policy teams to align 2026 innovation priorities
- Produce annual 'FutureTech' impact reports for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, CERN, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor junior futurists through our 'Horizon Scanning' apprenticeship program
- Represent the company at Davos, SXSW, and global tech policy summits
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
Qualifications
- PhD in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale companies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or sustainable tech systems
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures, TechCrunch, or equivalent platforms
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies (FDA, FCC, EU AI Act)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented future-focused projects with measurable impact
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (Spanish or German preferred)
