Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, biotech integration, and neural interfaces
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational strategy with future tech trends
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on societal impacts of emerging technologies
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for experimental projects in climate-tech and space exploration
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford labs on next-generation human-AI symbiosis research
- Present at Davos, TED, and Web3 conferences as our chief futurist ambassador
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurist Studies (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in strategic tech innovation with portfolio of commercialized future-tech products
- Published author in IEEE Spectrum or Future Journal with 50k+ citations
- Proficiency in trend forecasting using Delphi methods and scenario planning frameworks
- Fluency in at least two emerging programming languages (e.g., Rust, Julia, or WebAssembly)
- Experience securing $10M+ in grants from DARPA, NSF, or Horizon Europe
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ paradigm-shifting technology implementations
